POLYVORE!

I have been creating outfits on Polyvore for some time now. And, seeing as how this blog is a little bland, I thought I would add some of the outits, along with some more of my own designs. So, here goes....

There seems to be lots of peacock inspired things floating around the blogisphere at the moment. I put together this outfit to inspire a friend. She bought a purple dress similar to this one and didn't know how to accessorise it.

I think the colours work well in this outfit. A demure green skirt and top, brought to life with the pops of yellow in the accessories. It is a fun outfit I think. Also, as a Jehovah's Witness this outfit is perfect for the meetings, with the long skirt and modest top.

Again this outfit consists of a simple dress in a block colour, with contrasting accessories.

I had a little more fun with this outfit. When I created it I was trying to find inspiration for a costume party. I wanted to go burlesque, but in a modest way. This turned out to be the purfect outfit, with the feathers on the skirt, the mini tophat and the high heels (coming from a girl who wears trainers all the time, any heel is high). I couldn't buy these clothes but I managed something that looked just as good.

Another outfit with accessories that accentuate the colour of the dress.

Ruffles are another popular accessory at the moment around the blogisphere, so I found some of my own.

Simple yet elegent I think. And with the embellishments on the dress no jewelry is needed.

I love this outfit. If I had the money to spare I would buy each piece and wear it to the next Witness Assembly I am going to in April/May.

Contrasting colours that really pop, this outfit would really get you noticed.

Simply Red. Enough Said.

And what better way to end this blog than with some beautiful shoes!

A Few More Designs

Here are a few more of the designs in my folder. They aren't recent, but they are not part of the original collection.

With this dress I designed a shoe as well, which you can see a close up of below.

I like the ethereal-ness of this dress, with the floaty, mermaid's tail-like skirt.

For this dress I decided to design a matching handbag, in which the pattern of the skirt is replicated. Agan you can see a close-up below.
